PAROC Hosts Women in STEM and Storytime Events to Engage Children with Science

Emporia State University’s Prophet Aquatic Research and Outreach Center, or PAROC, is planning several upcoming science-themed events designed to be fun and educational. PAROC continues its monthly Science Saturdays and adds an evening option for Science Storytime targeted at children 7 and under.

ESU Eliminates Application Fee, Expanding Access for Future Hornets

Emporia State University has taken a bold step to expand accessibility and remove a financial barrier for future students by eliminating the undergraduate application fee, making it free to apply to the university. This move streamlines the admissions process and simplifies a student’s first steps to becoming a Hornet.





ESU Celebrates Founders’ Day 2024 + Day of Giving

Emporia State University faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends celebrate 161 years of educational excellence and opportunity with the annual Founders’ Day celebration on Thursday, Feb. 15. The event includes a lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. in Webb Hall on the second floor of the Memorial Union. A program will follow at noon.
