BSE Elementary Education (Special Education) Unified Option

You may add the elementary/special education unified option to any elementary education route as a concentration if you are interested in teaching in a special education setting. You will gain experience:

  • Developing and implementing Individual Educational Programs (IEPs)
  • Planning instruction considering individual learner characteristics
  • Collaborating with professionals and families to meet the needs of all students

The elementary education unified option leads to licensure in Elementary Education Unified (K-6).
