Associated Student Government’s sole purpose is to be the voice of the students, for the students. Being a member of ASG provides networking opportunities, creates spaces to meet with administration around campus, allows you to vote on legislation that directly impacts the students you represent, and, most of all, it will be the beginning of friendships that will last a lifetime. Mission

The purpose of Emporia State University's Associated Student Government is to provide the means whereby the members of the student body may express themselves effectively through programs in areas which directly affect the general welfare of the student body in any aspect of the university experience in which they choose to participate. ASG establishes equitable representation and participation for the students in the governance of the university community and promotes mutually beneficial cooperation among students, faculty, staff, and administration in furthering the purposes for which the university was founded.

SENATE DATES & TIMES

All Open Senate meetings take place at 5:15 p.m. in the Senate Chambers on the third floor of the Memorial Union. Any changes to these dates or times will be sent through an official ASG announcement.
