PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This online MBA program offered by Emporia State University is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), a distinction held by less than 5% of business schools worldwide. The program consists of 10 courses, or the equivalent of 30 credit hours. The MBA-Global Concentration is one of the most affordable and flexible business programs in China. You will learn to lead, collaborate with others, and understand business holistically—from accounting and finance to marketing and entrepreneurship.
Taught by faculty with real-world experience, the coursework encompasses the fundamentals of managerial economics, financial management, and marketing as well as the use of information systems and technology in management to inform effective bottom-line decision-making.
Four start dates every year and the streamlined admission process at ESU, with no GMAT required, means you can get started right away on your MBA. As you continue your program, case study-driven coursework means you can apply what you learn immediately to your current position. Plus, the capstone course gives you the opportunity to integrate all aspects of your learnings, while also demonstrating an understanding of the managerial role in policy formulation and strategic development.
This graduate program is targeted toward working professionals and is taught mostly online, giving you the flexibility in your work and family life. Each quarter, students will meet in Beijing for a three-day weekend. This gives students the opportunity to meet their fellow classmates and faculty in the program. The five weekend sessions will consist of things not able to be done online including group exercises, oral presentations, guest speakers, and social events.
