Emporia State University Theatre presents “Tough” by Margot Connolly. Performances are scheduled for March 6, 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m. and March 9 at 2 p.m. in the Ronald Q. Frederickson Black Box in Roosevelt Hall.
In the year 2000, “Gladiator,” “Cast Away” and “Mission: Impossible II” premiered in movie theatres. Top 100 radio was playing NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears and Destiny’s Child. And new TV shows included “Gilmore Girls,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Survivor.”
For more than a decade, the Donald Reichardt Center for Publishing and Literary Arts has served as a creative hub for Emporia State University students to pursue and practice the craft of writing.
Emporia State University will host the annual Bonner and Bonner Diversity Lecture series on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. The presentation will be in the Preston Family Room on the second floor of the Memorial Union. A reception will follow in the Alumni Lounge.
