Dr. David Shiffman, faculty member at Arizona State University, is speaking Friday, March 10. In his lecture, “Why Sharks Matter: The Science and Policy Behind Saving Threatened Sharks,” Shiffman explains why sharks are some of the most fascinating, most threatened and most important animals on Earth.
Juniors and seniors in Emporia State University’s Art Education department will host a group art exhibition titled “The Art of Education.” The show will be on display at the Gilson Gallery, second floor of King Hall, from March 6 through 24.
