Undergraduates to Present Research in Topeka

Five Emporia State undergraduate students will present research posters at the state Capitol on Thursday, Feb. 18 for  the annual Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol. 

Undergraduate students from each of the state’s public universities will present their research in the Capitol Rotunda from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The event is intended to inform legislators and the public about the quality of research being conducted by undergraduate students and the benefits to the state from this research. 

Students presenting from Emporia State are Christopher Alderman and Lauren Miller of Emporia, both seniors in biochemistry and molecular biolody; Luke Olsen of St. Mary's, senior in health promotion; Taner Thurman of Wichita, senior in business administration; and Ebrahim Kayali of Istanbul, Turkey, senior in computer science.
