Three Students Receive Full-Ride Scholarships

Three students will receive a Virginia Endly Memorial Scholarship for the 2018-19 academic year. The Endly scholarship is a full-ride scholarship offered by the university.

The 2018-19 Endly scholars are:

  • Kirstan DeVore of Inman, a freshman mathematics major;
  • Emily Euler of De Soto, a sophomore business administration major; and
  • Emily Goodrow of Topeka, a sophomore biochemistry and molecular biology major.

Merle Endly, whose family has a long history with Emporia State University dating back early 1900’s when ESU was Kansas State Normal School, established this scholarship to honor his sister Virginia Endly.

The scholarship is equal to current in-state tuition and fees, the current residence hall fee (double room) including the full meal plan and the current average cost of books. Recipients must be full-time students in good academic standing and are eligible to reapply.
