The Community Internship Initiative sponsored by the School of Business and coordinated by Emporia Main Street has been successful in creating six paid internships for business students in Spring 2017 within the local business community. The interns and the businesses are:
- Andrew Blackwell, Poehler Mercantile;
- Alexandra Ewy, ESB Financial;
- Kristen Stupka, IM Design;
- Taylor Elbe, Dynamic Discs;
- Delaney Schuler, Brickyard 20 Ale House; and
- Lexi Holstin, KVOE- Emporia’s Radio Stations
