Mark J. Swails Ph.D. Dissertation Defense

Mark J. Swails, candidate for the degree Doctor of Philosophy, Library and Information Management in the School of Library and Information Management (SLIM), Emporia State University will defend his dissertation research in a public presentation on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM CT in Room 319F, SLIM.  SLIM is located in the south end of the William Allen White Library building on the Emporia, KS campus. 

The title of the dissertation research is Non-User Perceptions of Community College Library Service Quality.

Mr. Swails is Associate Professor, Billington Library, Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, Kansas. He is Copyright Librarian and Liaison to English & Journalism, Mathematics, and Technology Divisions.

Dissertation committee members are Dr. James Walther, Chair, Assistant Professor, Emporia State University, School of Library and Information Management; Dr. Mingchu Luo, Associate Professor, Emporia State University, The Teachers College; and Dr. Laura Spears, Assessment Librarian at George A. Smathers Libraries, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.
