Library Students Lead Discussion on Internet Privacy

Internet privacy was the topic during an event sponsored by Emporia State University and the Portland (Oregon) Student Chapter of the American Library Association last month.

"Fight the Good Fight: An Intellectual Freedom & Current Library Issues Discussion" was led by Professor Candace Morgan, noted intellectual freedom librarian and former President of the Freedom to Read Foundation.

During the conversation, Morgan highly encouraged students to take action to save the Institute of Museum & Library Services (IMLS) and learn more about the anticipated rollback of internet privacy regulations.
