Emporia State University will celebrate 162 years of educational excellence with the annual Founders’ Day Celebration and luncheon on Friday, Feb. 14. Located in Memorial Union’s Webb Hall, the doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with a program beginning at noon.
A buffet will be provided by Fresh Ideas. The program will include a celebration of the Memorial Union turning 100 years old, the announcement of the 1863 essay contest winners and more.
The registration cost is $10 per person and is required to attend the Founders’ Day luncheon. The deadline to register is Feb. 5. Attendees can register online or contact Laurie Pitman at lpitman@emporia.edu. Unfortunately, walk-ins cannot be accommodated for the luncheon.
