Finalists for Libraries Dean Set to Visit Campus

Two finalists for the position of dean of University Libraries and Archives at Emporia State University will visit the campus during the next week. Each candidate’s visit will include individual meetings with the search committee and campus administrators as well as an open forum with various constituencies, including faculty, staff, students and the Emporia community.

Michelle Hammond, associate director of public services for the Earl S. Richardson Library at Morgan State University, will visit Friday, May 13. Hammond will have an open forum on campus at 2:30 p.m. in the Preston Family Room of the Memorial Union.

Barbara J. Mann, head librarian for the Reese Library at Augusta University, will visit Monday, May 16. Mann will have an open forum on campus at 2:30 p.m. in the Kanza Room of the Memorial Union.
