Terri Summey, candidate for the degree Doctor of Philosophy, Library and Information Management in the School of Library and Information Management, Emporia State University will defend her dissertation proposal in a public presentation on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM CT in Room 319F, SLIM. SLIM is located in the south end of the William Allen White Library building on the Emporia, KS campus.
The title of Summey’s proposed research is “Emotional Intelligence and Reference and Information Services (RIS) Librarians.”
Summey is a professor and reference and research services librarian at ESU’s William Allen White Library.
Dissertation committee members are Dr. Mirah J. Dow, Dissertation Chair, Professor, School of Library and Information Management, Emporia State University; Dr. Andrew J. M. Smith, Committee Member, Associate Professor, School of Library and Information Management, Emporia State University; and Dr. Susan Krumel, Associate Professor and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Midland University, Fremont, NE.
