Dissertation Defense

Tracie M. Kreighbaum, candidate for the degree Doctor of Philosophy, Library and Information Management in the School of Library and Information Management (SLIM), Emporia State University will defend her dissertation in a public presentation on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 2 PM CT in Room 319F, SLIM.  SLIM is located in the south end of the William Allen White Library building on the Emporia campus.

The title of Ms. Kreighbuam’s dissertation research is “Walking a Tightrope without a Net: Exploring How Rural Homeless Adults Use Information to Solve Problems While Residents at a Northern Midwest Rural Homeless Shelter.”

Dissertation committee members are Dr. Mirah J. Dow, Dissertation Committee Chair, Professor, School of Library and Information Management, Emporia State University; Dr. Sarah Sutton, Dissertation Committee Member, Assistant Professor, School of Library and Information Management, Emporia State University; and Dr. Julia Hersberger, Dissertation Committee Member, Associate Professor, University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
