Chinese students are holding a New Year Gala to celebrate and share their culture on February 10 in Albert Taylor Hall.
A wide variety of entertainment will be at the gala, including performances from the ESU students, ESU faculty/staff, Emporia community members, Kansas City Traditional Chinese Ensemble, KU Chinese dance team and more.
The event is hosted by the ESU Chinese Students and Scholars Association and follows the start of the 2017 Chinese New Year, which began at the end of January.
Admission to the 2017 Chinese New Year Gala is free. The event is 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Friday, February 10 in Albert Taylor Hall.
