Hannah Kipfer, Ph.D., is an instructor in the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Department at Emporia State University. Hannah joined the HPER faculty in 2018 where she is teaching undergraduate classes in health, physical education, and adapted physical education.
Dr. Kipfer received her bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, her master’s degree in Physical Education Teacher Education from West Virginia University, and her doctoral degree from West Virginia University, with a focus in Physical Education Teacher Education.
Before joining the ESU faculty, Hannah was a graduate assistant at WVU where she prepared undergraduate physical educators. She also taught Health and Physical Education to grades 4-9 at the International English School of Uppsala, Sweden for two years. Hannah was an active member of the the West Virginia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance and is currently an active member of the Kansas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance as well as the national level Society of Health and Physical Educators. Dr Kipfer has presented at conferences, in-services, and workshops across the nation.
