Plumb Hall is my favorite. I had a ton of classes in Plumb while getting my undergrad and it just feels like home every time I walk in the door!

Favorite thing about ESU

Corky is an important part of the history of the school, and I love the Corky statues on campus. I think it reminds students that they are a part of a great tradition.

Favorite thing about City of Emporia

Location. Emporia is centrally located, and I love that. There are so many things to do and amazing restaurants, but you are always just a short drive from Kansas City, Lawrence, Wichita, and Topeka.

Advice for future Hornets

Get involved, whether it is being a student leader on campus or attending sporting events. You have the opportunity to meet new people and make lifelong friends!

Fun fact

As a former high school teacher, many of the students that I taught are ESU students. I am sure that it is because my classroom had a ton of Emporia State black and gold in it!
