Financial Assistance
When it comes to paying for college, you have options to help turn your educational goals into reality. There are tons of scholarships, grants and work-study opportunities to offer financial support, and the financial aid office at ESU is ready to help you sort it all out with one-on-one support, financial literacy training and workshops throughout the semester.

- Basic Needs Coalition: The Basic Needs Coalition is a group of staff, students and faculty who work together with the community to make sure every Hornet has food, housing and the financial resources needed to succeed. emporia.edu/basicneeds
- Corky’s Cupboard: Fresh produce, refrigerated and frozen food, non-perishable items, toiletries and school supplies are available at Emporia State’s campus food pantry for enrolled students at no cost. emporia.edu/corkyscupboard
- TRIO Student Support Services: A federal program hosted by ESU, TRIO helps students be successful through free services such as tutoring, career counseling, financial literacy, workshops, academic advising and more. emporia.edu/trio
