International Food Festival

This annual tradition is organized by the Office of International Education. The International Food Festival allows community members to try authentic main dishes, sides, desserts and tea from around the world.

This event could not be possible without our international students! ESU currently has approximately 200 international students. In addition to sharing their culture through food, they will host activities and performances.

Countries Cooking Authentic Dishes Include

Algeria, Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, China, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Ghana, Iceland, Finland, Japan, Mexico, Paraguay, Philippines, Nigeria, South Africa, Sri Lanka, The Bahamas, Turkey and Ukraine.

Performances at the Event Include

Songs from Japan, global fashion show and dance show from Ghana.

Activity Tables at the Event Include

Henna art by Bangladesh, Japanese activity by Japan, waist beads and jewelry making table by Ghana and a language table by China and Congo.

Price:  Each item for purchase ranges from $2-$6. Cash and cards are accepted. Proceeds go to the Dorine Harter Scholarship Fund.
