AmeriCorps members serve at Emporia Child Care and Jones Early Childhood Center. Service consists of training and tutoring students one-on-one in early literacy skills. These lessons are provided and are on-site.
Hours are flexible and designed to work with your school schedule.
Living expenses + scholarships paid
Minimum time service: 300 hours throughout the academic year
Living allowance: $3,000
Scholarship (upon completion of service): $1,400
Quarter-time service: 400 hours throughout the academic year
Living allowance: $4,500
Scholarship (upon completion of service): $1,800
