Reading Specialist Licensure Only

DO MORE WITH YOUR CAREER

Reading Specialist Licensure Program

If you already have a master's degree, this could be the program for you.

Licensure only is for candidates who have already completed a master’s degree which is related and acceptable (as determined by the department program committee).

Application for admission as a non-degree seeking candidate must be made on a form provided by the Graduate School.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours, as evidenced by official transcripts.

KSDE licensure requirements also include successful completion of the Reading Specialist Praxis exam, upon completion of the Emporia State University reading specialist program.
