Emporia State University Name, Image, Likeness Policy

Guidelines for Marketing + Communication approval of: Student-Athletes in team gear or uniforms; the use of ESU trademarks, logos or symbols within the Emporia State University Name, Image and Likeness Policy:

1. When the photo is of the student-athlete who is submitting the request and when the photo is used to convey the student-athlete’s personal skill and ability
2. When the use of the photo does not implicitly or expressly endorse a third party or product
3. Any other use of trademarks, logos or symbols must adhere to the university’s current licensing program

Use of images taken by university photography are university property and may be used for approved purposes. Images used must be given proper photo credit.
