Counselor Education

Counselor Education offers three graduate degrees in Art Therapy Counseling, School Counseling, and Clinical Counseling. Within the Clinical Counseling program, three areas of professional concentration are available: Addiction Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling.

HPER prepares students to become qualified professionals in the areas of athletic training, coaching, health and human performance, physical education, sports leadership and recreation.

Tracks for traditional students, licensed practical nurses and registered nurse students. Graduates are eligible to take the national licensure examination for registered nurses.

Art Therapy

Master of Science

Art Therapy offers several advantages verbal therapy cannot. Through the creation of art, one can express thoughts, feelings, and conflicts that cannot be easily expressed through words. At ESU, you can choose to study for an MS in Art Therapy or select one of our two dual degree programs, combining Art Therapy with Clinical Counseling or Clinical Psychology.

Athletic Training

Master of Science

The Master's of Science in Athletic Training allows students in fulfilling the requirements of the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). This 47-credit hour program is offered entirely on campus.

Nursing

Bachelor of Science

Nurses are in high-demand, graduates are eligible to take the national licensure examination for registered nursing (NCLEX-RN) to become registered nurses.
